Garth Tander – engineer & driver coach.  Races for HRT in V8Supercars, 2007 V8Supercar Champion

Louis Kapitsis – engineer & driver coach.  Has been integral part of TanderSport for 3 years.  Was part of Aaron Caratti’s championship winning team in 2005.

Ashley Seward – mechanic.  Former driver, vast mechanical experience in all forms of Motorsport including Formula 3 in UK.

Damien Allen – mechanic.  Many years experience in F3.  No 1 spanner for Ben Clucas’ during his 2006 championship winning year.

TEAM BIO:

TanderSport was formed in late 2005 and since then its professionalism and dedication to winning has proved the relatively “new” team a force to be reckoned with. TanderSport began its assault on the Australian Formula 3 Championship in 2006. 

As a single-car team in 2006 & 2007, TanderSport consistently punched above its weight scoring 5th outright in 2006 and a very close 2nd in 2007 only 2 points behind eventual winner.  In 2008 TanderSport purchased a new F307 and expanded to a three-car team.  Its drivers placed 2nd in Championship class (narrowly missing the win by 4 points) and 4th & 5th in National Class.  

Despite both National drivers missing 3 rounds, each were only 2 and 3 points respectively off a podium position.

With the best crew in pit lane and talented drivers behind the wheel, 2009 is set to be yet another successful year for TanderSport.
