Drive from behind - Mallala 2007

IN a championship that was already full of tension and drama after three intensely competitive rounds, The Australian F3 Championship was ready to pop the pressure valve when it arrived at South Australia's Mallala raceway in May 2007. As cars made their way to the form up area on a cold and windy Sunday, it rained. And then, as if it still wasn't dramatic enough, it stopped raining two minutes later.

F3's 10 YEARS - 2004 Mallala showdown

The penultimate round of an already close championship only managed to elevate the tensions as Karl Reindler and Chris Gilmour fought out the 2004 championship season. At the penultimate round of the championship their battle was joined by several other young guns in an almighty fight and - until, at least, 2007 - it was one of the best F3 races seen at Mallala.
